    Gabriel Jesus puts end to Arsenal’s £71m misery as Man City star finally makes decision

    Daily Mirror says ARSENAL have finally ended a streak of letting players leave the club for Manchester City – and this time they’re looking to make a signing of their own in Gabriel Jesus.

    Tommy Caton is currently the only player to ever transfer directly from City to Arsenal, although this occurred 39 years, and since then it’s been one way traffic in the other direction. Niall Quinn first switched red for sky blue in 1990, before David Seaman moved to Manchester in 2003.

    Since then, Arsenal have been ransacked by City and £71million has been spent on a total of five players, who were all signed after the club were taken over in 2008 by Sheikh Mansour. But the £45m deal to bring Jesus to Arsenal has ended the misery, and here Mirror Football looks at the players that jumped ship once City gained their riches.
