The Daily Express reports that thousands of Britons have travelled to Spain despite the rules. Another report is on British tourists being turned away from flight to Spain because they didn’t have the correct paperwork.

The front page covers Priti Patel’s new border rules and the Duchess of Cambridge’s trip to Scotland.

There’s an update on the Sasha Johnson shooting as police hunt for four men in connection to the incident, and insist she was not the intended victim.

We’ll be on green list in two weeks

The Daily Express reports thousands of Britons have travelled to amber list country Spain “in defiance” of official advice.

The paper says it’s because “tourism chiefs predicted it will soon join the green list.” The front splash featured picture is of a sunny beach.

    Priti Patel protects the borders

The front page features a picture of Priti Patel under the headline “my firm but fair plan to protect our borders.”

EU citizens and travellers from other parts of the world who wish to visit the UK could be charged a fee. The new plan would further tighten restrictions on EU nations that before Brexit had free movement with the UK. On Monday Home Secretary Priti Patel announced a new US-style digital visa system.

Sasha Johnson: Police hunt ‘four men in dark clothing’ who opened fire on BLM activist

The Express Online says police are looking for four men in connection with the shooting of Sasha Johnson – police believe she was caught in the crossfire, rather than the victim of a targeted attack.

Diane Abbott grilled over ‘inflaming’ racial divides following BLM activist shooting

Labour MP Diane Abbott has been challenged over a tweet following the shooting of Black Lives Matter activist Sasha Johnson.

Iain Dale on LBC called out Abbott after it appeared she linked the shooting of the Black Lives Matter activist Sasha Johnson to her racial justice activism in a tweet.

Ryanair passengers ‘in tears’ as 31 people are turned away from flight to Spain

The Express Online says Ryanair passengers were “left in tears” after being turned away from their flight to Spain – because they didn’t have the right travel documents.

They say 31 people were told they could not go on their pre-booked to Malaga, Spain, as they had no proof of Spanish residency – which, at the time, was required by the Spanish government for people to travel to the country. One passenger said he is now £350 out of pocket and fears he won’t be able to get a refund.
