This Sky News presenter wins Christmas jumper of the year.

Sports reporter James Green got well and truly into the festive spirit this year, debuting a very raunchy jumper live on telly.

Presenting during the breakfast show on Christmas Eve, the journalist began his bulletin looking dapper in smart trousers and a blue blazer.

Underneath, however, something unusual could be seen poking through, which he revealed at the end of his segment, much to his co-presenter’s amusement.

‘Now, if you were listening carefully, you will have remembered that I said at the top of James’s sports bulletin that he had a bit of a reveal and he’s going to reveal possibly the worst Christmas jumper known to man,’ she teased.

Admitting that he was hardly making a fashion statement, James joked: ‘It’s not the best, Leah.’

    Well… (Picture: Sky News)

‘I ordered it and, actually, it’s nylon which makes it worse. It’s not really a proper Christmas jumper,’ he said.

‘But, it arrived and I thought, it’s Christmas Eve, I should wear it.’

James proceeded to unbutton his jacket and show off some rather questionable Christmas attire.

His nylon jumper featured a naked man’s torso – nipples and all – a red tie, and a Santa-style belt.

It really isn’t something you see on Sky News every day!

‘So, this is it. This is my Christmas jumper for 2023 out there and very, very realistic,’ James quipped, referring to the toned physique of the model on his front.

‘I wish everybody a merry Christmas, enjoy yourself, be jolly, and enjoy your family time,’ he signed off.

‘This is why we love James,’ declared broadcaster Leah Boleto.

‘But do go and hang your head in shame,’ she told him.

While Leah was less than impressed, viewers were highly entertained by James’s jumper of choice.

Keen to know more, X user Anthony Bonney asked James: ‘Was the gallery dying with laughter?’

‘I think they enjoyed it a bit too much!’, he replied.
