Desperate search for survivors after theatre’s shelter withstood attack
The Metro says there are some survivors from the devastating Russian bombing of a theatre, where hundreds of people were sheltering, Ukrainian authorities say.
A bomb shelter was also left in tact after the strike on Mariupol, unverified reports quoting a local governor claimed.
The word ‘children’ was written in Russian outside the building before it was attacked.
Local officials are struggling to determine the exact fate of hundreds of civilians who had been sheltering in a theater smashed by a Russian airstrike in the besieged city.
