Sam Smith was caught up in quite the windy day on Sunday night in New York, and although managing to escape any accidents they did take the opportunity to casually flash their pants.
As you do.
The Unholy chart-topper was enjoying an evening out with pals in the Big Apple, dressed in a billowing cream linen shirt dress with ties up the front.
They accessorised with a small reptile-print baguette-shaped handbag and silver drop earrings, completing the look with a pair of comfy-looking brown cowboy boots.
While on their way to the venue for the night, piano bar and cabaret theatre The Duplex, Sam was very nearly taken out by a giant potted plant, which was caught by a sudden gust and knocked over – right into their path.
Luckily the 31-year-old was able to laugh it off, emerging unscathed and able to enjoy a drink with their friends.

Intriguingly – as we’ve no idea exactly what was happening in the scenario – Sam was then snapped lifting up their dress and pulling down what appeared to be a pair of blue striped boxer shorts, flashing some black knickers beneath,
They continued talked animatedly with one pal, clutching at the material – perhaps showing off pockets?
Sam, whose new single Vulgar in collaboration with Madonna split music fans earlier this month, has had to postpone several shows in recent weeks on their Gloria tour.

They revealed they had suffered a serious ‘vocal cord injury’ after first being struck down by a virus and cancelling a date in Glasgow in April.
Soon after Sam then had to pull out of subsequent shows in Birmingham, Tel Aviv and Manchester, before cancelling the remainder of their UK tour.
Taking to Instagram with a video at the beginning of the month, Sam said that they had ‘really, really positive news’ to share.
‘It looks like I am going to be good for the rest of the shows, so that’s really amazing news,’ they explained after a week of vocal rests helped their vocal cords start to heal.
Then saying how they wanted to send a message to fans to say ‘thank you so much’, Sam revealed the ‘beautiful messages and love and healing energy’ they had been sent had ‘meant the world’.

However, they shared that they were ‘still and would always be so sorry’ to the fans who had missed out on the show due to the cancellations.
‘These things are completely out of my control and I’m just sorry and I will be doing everything I can to get back to you as soon as we can and when we can,’ they said.
Sam is next expected to take to the stage on Wednesday July 5 in Montreux, Switzerland before heading to Spain, Portugal, France, Finland and Latvia ahead of hitting the US leg of their tour later that month.
