Rylan Clark has celebrated his birthday with a special visit from his mum after she suffered a shocking fall on holiday.
Last month the TV presenter revealed his mum Linda, 71, had been hospitalised in Spain following a fall.
They pair had been enjoying her first overseas holiday in a decade when a fall left her with both a broken leg and arm.
After Rylan took some time off work to care for his mum after she underwent surgery, she’s now well on her way to recovery.
Now, as the former The X Factor and Big Brother star celebrated his 35th birthday, his shared an update on his mum’s health as she joined in the festivities.
Sharing a photo of Linda smiling while sitting in his living room, Rylan commented the post: ‘For the first time in 2 months she’s managed to come round. Best birthday present.’

However he didn’t miss his chance to throw some subtle shade at his mum, adding: ‘Don’t make a habit of it tho dorrrlliiinnn.’
A few weeks after arriving back home in the UK, Rylan revealed his mum was back in hospital to do some rehabilitation.
Posting a video of her on a ward, Linda could be seen sitting in a wheelchair with a cast on one arm and one of her legs hanging off the footrest.

She was then shown making her way up in a lift as she laughed and smiled at the camera, with her son again poking a bit of fun at her.
The video was soundtracked by You Raise Me Up, while in the caption he quipped: ‘Early morning hospital bants.’
Linda regularly makes appearances on Rylan’s radio show and Celebrity Gogglebox.
Following his split from husband of six years Dan Neal, Rylan moved back in with his mum.
