    Russia targeted Ukraine with 50 missiles and nearly 300 drones, injuring fifteen people and killing one man in the Kyiv region. This attack occurred as the four-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion approaches, with temperatures dropping to -10C during the strikes.

    Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported the attacks on social media, identifying energy and logistical infrastructure as primary targets. Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, confirmed the use of ballistic weapons, urging residents to seek shelter.

    Significant damage was reported, particularly in Mykolaiv, where 16,000 people lost electricity amid freezing conditions. Zelenskyy noted that Russia had executed over 1,300 drone attacks in the preceding week.

    Russia’s latest assault on Ukraine involved the launch of 50 missiles and almost 300 drones, resulting in injuries to fifteen individuals and one fatality in the Kyiv region. The attack coincided with frigid temperatures of -10C impacting the region, as reported by local authorities.

    Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed on social media that energy and logistical infrastructure were among the targets, while Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, urged residents to stay in shelters due to ongoing attacks with ballistic weapons.

    The strikes targeted multiple regions, including Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa, causing substantial damage to energy facilities, as confirmed by emergency workers. In Mykolaiv, around 16,000 residents were affected by power outages following the destruction of energy infrastructure.

    In Lviv, a police officer died and twenty-five people were injured due to a separate terror attack involving homemade bombs, as stated by the National Police of Ukraine. Ukrainian officials indicated that several suspects have been detained in connection with the incident.

    Amid the ongoing conflict, US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff hinted at the possibility of a summit between Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future. This statement followed Zelenskyy’s comments about the potential for further talks by the end of February.
