Rudy Giuliani suspended from practising law in Washington DC
The Guardian says a US appeals court has suspended Rudy Giuliani from practising law in Washington DC, a move that follows an earlier suspension in New York amid fallout over his baseless claims about the 2020 election.
Giuliani, who lead Trump’s legal challenge after his election defeat, was suspended from practising law in New York last month after a court ruled that he had made “demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public” in trying to overturn the results of the 2020 elections in favor of Trump.
