Breaking: Roads closed due to ‘major incident’ near Lancaster

Witnesses making their way back home from visiting the Yorkshire Dales National park, have been stopped (by Burton-Hill, Burton in Lonsdale, near Lancaster) and turned back due to a ‘major incident confirmed by police’.

While struggling to find a different route the family confirmed to us that many police cars were passing by and also a helicopter stood by. The area was circled by police cars and ambulances. The roads ahead were closed immediately.
