Rihanna has been thriving in her makeup mogul, business woman life but fans are desperate to get another album from the Fenty founder.
The Russian Roulette hitmaker has not released music since critically acclaimed Anti in 2016 – almost a decade ago.
After dropping new tracks for last year’s Black Panther film and featuring on a handful of other artist’s songs, the 35-year-old songstress has been tantalisingly holding off on recording a full album.
While fans have been loving her acting endeavours, such as starring in Ocean’s 8 and soon the Smurfs Musical, the cries begging for new music often overshadow her announcements.
However, there is still hope for a ninth album from the Umbrella icon as she revealed to Entertainment Tonight at the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party.
Rihanna shared: ‘We’re always gonna go back on tour. I wanna go back on tour when there’s new music, right? We already know what that’s gonna be.

‘My last tour was a long time ago, I feel like it’s only fair that my fans get what they’ve been waiting on – which is new music. And after that, let’s just blow everything up.’
Rihanna has reportedly signed an eye-watering £32million comeback deal with Live Nation so things new music ahead of a tour is definitely on the cards.
Recently though, the star has been in her little family bubble after the birth of son Riot Rose in August this year.
She and partner A$AP Rocky welcomed their second child after confirming her pregnancy in style at the Super Bowl Halftime show.
At the Fenty event Rihanna made a rare comment on her brood, which includes RZA who was born in January 2022.

‘He struggled in the beginning, but he loves his little brother. If the baby’s crying, he’ll just hold his hands. It hurts him if the baby’s crying,’ Rihanna shared.
Desperate for any hint of new music, speculation was sparked again by fans as the Pon De Replay icon switched up her hair to a dramatic long blonde look.
The Fenty Beauty founder headed out for a meal with friends at a private members’ club in West Hollywood in November, looking utterly unrecognisable.
If we are getting new music soon one thing is for sure – fans will go absolutely wild.
