Richard Osman has warmed viewers’ hearts with his sweet message to everybody at Christmas.
Although the festive season can be a joyful time, it’s not the case for everybody and the TV star took time to acknowledge that.
He wished viewers a lovely Christmas before quickly adding: ‘If Christmas is a hard time for you, then have a peaceful one,’ on a festive episode of Pointless.
A sentiment he also repeated on his show Richard’s House of Games.
The thoughtful message from the 53-year-old was appreciated by many of the viewers.
TV Critic Scott Bryan shared a photo from the moment and wrote: ‘This Richard Osman quote on Pointless is so good,’ which led to social media users expressing their gratitude for it.

‘He is a beautiful human being,’ added user Neil Dance.
Fellow Xer Lisa D called him a ‘gem of a man,’ and John Smith remarked: ‘The man is a gent. So genuine.’

Richard co-hosted Pointless with Alexander Armstrong, before leaving in 2022 but he has returned for the festive celebrity specials.
On today’s episode, Richard dressed up as Santa Claus himself and told viewers again: ‘If Christmas is a tough time for you, have a peaceful one.’
We think there needs to be more Richards in the world!
