Real Housewives of New York fans, the wait is officially over as the Legacy cast has finally been confirmed – with some icons returning for the Ultimate Girls Trip spin-off.
Last year, Andy Cohen confirmed that the beloved Bravo series would be rebooted with a brand new cast, while some of the faces we’ve come to know and love were set to return for a separate ‘legacy’ series.
After some intense speculation over who exactly would be taking part in the episodes, Peacock has finally announced than OGs Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps would be returning, alongside Sonja Morgan, Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Kristen Taekman.
Dorinda Medley, who was famously ‘put on pause’, is back in play mode and has rounded out the cast.
Although they will be taking on another Ultimate Girls Trip, the gang are steering clear of Dorinda’s Bluestone Manor – instead jetting off to the luxurious Saint Barts, at the exact same property where some of the ladies stayed in season five.
We cannot wait to see the chaos they cause this time around.

A premiere date is yet to be confirmed, but seeing as we’re still waiting on season four of the UGT spin-off, it might be a while yet.
Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin – who were among the original New York housewives – were previously linked to star but are not in the finalized cast.
Last October, the cast for the new Real Housewives of New York reboot was revealed, with Jenna Lyon, Jessel Taank, Ubah Hassan, Lizzy Savetsky, Sai De Silva and Erin Dana Lichy unveiled as the new slate of Bravo stars.
A press release from Bravo teased that the episodes ‘will follow an all-new group of seven dynamic women who run in the same social circles, thriving in one of the most diverse and electric cities in the world.

‘From fashion and real estate, to philanthropy and social influence, these women have made their mark in NYC and will now share their lives as they juggle careers, family life and jam-packed social calendars in the city that never sleeps.’
Lizzy later announced her departure from the show, revealing that she had been subjected to a ‘torrent of anti-Semitic attacks’.
‘I will not be continuing on the Real Housewives of NYC,’ she began. ‘As a proud orthodox Jewish woman, I thought participating in this series would be a great chance to represent people like me and share my experience.

‘Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of antisemitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.
‘I’m looking forward to my next chapter. Stay tuned – and thank you for your love support!’
