Remembering Caroline Flack, 2 years on
Today marks the second anniversary of Caroline Flack’s tragic death – the TV presenter ended her own life on February 15th 2020 at the age of 40.
Love Island – the TV series she presented – paid tribute by sharing an image of Caroline with the caption: “Caroline, forever in our hearts.”
Jack Fowler, who appeared on the 2018 series of the show, wrote: “Always had a smile on her,” followed by a string of love heart emojis.
Meanwhile, series six-star Biggs-Marvin Chris urged people to “be kind” in the comment section.
Caroline’s close friend – Olly Murs opened up about Caroline’s tragic passing.
“I miss her every day and I think about her every day,” Olly told Daily Star.
“I think about what I could have done to change things, what I could have said.
“There are all sorts of questions I ask myself every day. It’s always difficult.”
Caroline’s death came two months after her arrest following an incident involving her boyfriend, Lewis Burton. She took her own life just a day after learning that prosecutors were planning to press ahead with an assault charge.
Her mother, Christine Flack, has sparked a reinvestigation into her late daughter’s arrest.
