International Committee of the Red Cross spokesperson Lucile Marbeau said that the organisation “remains ready” to continue operations related to the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, but that it is “up to the parties to resume talks”. Marbeau spoke to FRANCE 24 on Saturday, November 25, after Hamas said it was delaying the release of a second group of hostages until Israel “adheres” to its truce deal with the Palestinian militant group.
