Coronation Street’s Sally Carman has marked a special milestone for herself and Joe Duttine, her co-star and husband.
The actress, best known for her role as Abi Franklin, is married to Joe – who plays Tim Metcalfe in the show.
They finally tied the knot last year after delaying their wedding multiple times due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

‘We did’, she wrote on Instagram to announce the news, followed by a yellow heart emoji, a reference to her social media caption from 2020, when she announced her and Joe’s engagement with a simple: ‘I did’.
A few months later, the couple jetted off to Lake Garda, Italy, for a joyful honeymoon.
Recently, Sally shared a wonderful picture of herself and Joe with the caption ‘5 Years’ along with, of course, five yellow heart emojis, taking us back to 2018, when reports first surfaced about the co-stars dating.

Her most recent storyline saw her support Aaron (James Craven), under the impression that he didn’t rape Amy (Elle Mulvaney). However, after admitting that she wasn’t sure why Amy changed her mind about reporting Aaron to the police, Abi listened to the teen and said that she believes her.
For Tim, away from the usual drama that comes with being married to his partner, Sally (who is played by Sally Dynevor, are you keeping up?), he recently said goodbye to daughter Faye (Ellie Leach), who left Weatherfield with Jackson (Joseph Evans) and their daughter Miley.
Tim will raise concerns about his mum, Elaine (Paula Wilcox) soon, convinced that her partner Stephen (Todd Boyce) is just like Geoff Metcalfe and is only with Elaine for her money.
