Express Sport – ‘Ras and Shine’
The back page of the Daily Express reports on Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Luton. Despite Luton being firmly in the relegation zone, they put on an incredible display during the match. United boss Erik ten Hag heaped praise on Rasmus Hojlund for his two goals but noted that Man U are still fragile ‘up front.’
Manchester United star Rasmus Hojlund admitted that he was ‘annoyed’ despite his brace at Luton maintaining the Red Devils’ Champions League charge. Hojlund scored inside 40 seconds at Kenilworth Road, latching on to Amari’i Bell’s misplaced back pass before driving a shot home. He then cleverly turned in Alejandro Garnacho’s volley with his chest seven minutes later.
But the 21-year-old was left feeling aggrieved over his failure to score his first United hat-trick, and the fact none of his team-mates could increase the United lead in the second half.
Elsewhere, there is room to report on the rest of the Premier League fixtures on the back page. Sheffield United’s Mason Holgate has apologised for his moment of madness – which saw him get a red card in the 13th minute. United lost 5-0 to Brighton.
