Quentin Tarantino shocked fans as he touched down at an Israeli military base and attempted to boost morale among troops amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The 60-year-old director was snapped as he posed for pictures at a camp in southern Israel which were later posted on Israel War Room pages.
Following his time on the base, he was then spotted in multiple pictures with fans on social media as he made his way through Sde Boker – a kibbutz in the south of the country.
The Kill Bill director’s presence was also posted to TikTok with one fan noting: ‘An exciting moment amidst all the s**t.’
Attracting attention on X – formerly Twitter – the A-lister was seen in a huddle of troops as they assembled for a picture in front of what appeared to be a military-style aircraft.
There was no indication in the photo where exactly Quentin had visited but The Israel War Room posted on their account: ‘Legendary filmmaker Quentin Tarantino visits an Israeli base in southern Israel to boost IDF morale.’

The director has personal ties to the country as he has been living in Tel Aviv for the last two years with his Israeli wife, singer Daniella Pick and their two children – son Leo and daughter, whose name has yet to be released.
Quentin met his wife Daniella, 39, back in 2009 while he was premiering his critically acclaimed blockbuster Inglourious Basterds in Israel.
The star visited the Israel Defense Forces as they continued their efforts to resolve the conflict that began after Palestinian terrorist group Hamas launched attacks on Israel on October 7 – that has now led to a hostile situation that has claimed at least 2,100 lives on both sides.
Other famous faces have raised their voices in the face of the brutal attacks including Israeli actress Gal Gadot.
She posted messages on her social media that read: ‘At least 250 Israeli have been murdered and dozens of women children and elders held as hostages in Gaza, by Palestinian military group Hamas.

‘Starting early morning more than 3,000 rockets were fire. Hamas is holding hostages, controlling bases and settlements in Israel. There have been more than 1,500 injured and heavy fighting is still ongoing.
‘I hear their voices and they are banging on the door. I am with my two little children. My heart is aching. Praying for all of those in pain.’
Since the beginning of the atrocities, Israel sealed the Gaza Strip off from food, fuel, medicine and other supplies, while launching retaliatory air strikes on the Hamas-ruled territory, which is home to 2.3 million people.
Hamas has pledged to kill captured Israeli hostages if attacks target civilians in Gaza without warnings.
