Queen will attend Prince Philip’s memorial service after Covid scare

The Metro says Queen Elizabeth will attend a memorial service for her late husband Prince Philip this morning, Buckingham Palace has said.

The 95-year-old monarch’s attendance was in doubt following a Covid scare and reports of mobility issues.

The palace has now confirmed that the Queen will make the ceremony, which starts at 11.15am at Westminster Abbey.

Her last public engagement was on February 5.
