Junts per Catalunya, the political party led by Carles Puigdemont is taking his election campaign to France in an effort to give their leader maximum visibility.

Puigdemont is taking his election campaign to France

The party has announced that all campaign events and rallies will be held in Argelers, with the exception of the final rally on May 10th, which will take place in Barcelona.

After six and a half years in “exile with which the EU institution protected itself” so as not to end up being a “hostage” of the Spanish State. The leader is wishing to make a return to and be elected. But he is cautious and playing it safe, and will lead his campaign from the south of France.

The intention to concentrate the independence vote for Catalunya

Emphasizing a “screen-free campaign,” Junts per Catalunya is prioritizing in-person appearances by Puigdemont. To ensure a strong turnout, the party is organizing a fleet of buses to transport Puigdemont’s supporters to the events in France. At least five buses will depart daily from various locations in Catalonia to attend the campaign events.

This move to hold campaign events outside of Catalonia and provide transportation for supporters highlights the importance of Puigdemont’s leadership and the party’s commitment to engaging with voters in a meaningful way. Stay tuned for more updates on this unique campaign strategy.

Catalonia will be an independent state

Yesterday the former president maintained that he designed up to five plans to break into Catalonia and circumvent the arrest warrant as soon as he was sworn in, and then once again pointed out the then president of the Parliament, the ERC leader Roger Torrent, as the only person to blame for that.
