Prince Andrew could be stripped of Duke title under new law

The Metro says PRINCE ANDREW could be stripped of his title under a proposed law, which would have ‘wider implications’ for scandal-hit politicians.

There have been repeated calls for further action against Prince Andrew since he paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre.

Rachael Maskell, Labour MP for York Central, said her city’s constituents were ashamed to be associated with the disgraced royal.

She has now proposed a new law, which has been tabled in Parliament.

The Removal of Titles Bill could affect not only Prince Andrew, but also peers in the House of Lords.
