    The political monitor for French President Emmanuel Macron tracker – highlighting all of his main political activities this week.

    He like many of the European leaders was at Seville, attending the United Nations Conference on Financing for Development. Where he headlines his speech with “Supporting development means supporting every individual on the planet.” Green policies score big points at home.

    He was also positively trying to repair relations with former French colonies by gas-lighting’ and assuring Senegal’s President Faye that even though France will not pay reparations they will make it up to the African countries, Président Bassirou Diomaye Faye de la République du Sénégal did not look impressed.

    It looks like the French President is on a drive to push the climate agenda in Africa with teh hope of signifiant announcements in Nairobi next spring at the Africa–France Summit, using ‘future cooperation’ as a carrot to push towards a Greener Africa in return for investment.
