Premier League fixtures today – All eyes on Spurs vs Arsenal for title race
A draw for Liverpool against West Ham in Saturday’s Premier League match saw them close the gap at the top – but many fans will see it as the title race is over for the Reds, dropping points against West Ham means they’ll need both City and Arsenal to slip up today.
Sunday’s matches will give us a better understanding of the title race. Arsenal cannot afford to slip up, whilst City should easily beat Notts Forest – a win could see City back at the top of the Premier League table (with a game still in hand).
If Arsenal were to lose, it would open the title race back up and bring Liverpool back in with a chance.
Following yesterday’s matches, it’s been confirmed that Sheffield United are to be relegated. Nottingham Forest needs to try to get a point against City if they want to have any hopes of avoiding the drop.
