Breaking News: Portugal to be booted off green list – sources
The BBC says it is understood Portugal will be removed from the UK’s travel green list and will be added to the amber list later today.
There was a meeting this morning between the UK and devolved governments and advice from the joint biosecurity centre, according to sources who spoke to the BBC.
The sources said the decision will be announced today.
No new countries will be added to England’s green list for foreign travel, the BBC has been told.
