PMQs – No evidence Russia interference in UK elections says PM

    Russia Today Banned?

In breaking news the PM suggests Ofcom is looking into banning Russia Today – the Kremlin-backed TV channel. This had no been previously mentioned in the sanctions reveal and has come as quite a shock.

Boris says UK doing the most to root out dirty money

Keir Starmer says PM must work across the Commons “to ensure the end of the era of oligarch impunity”, saying UK can no longer be home for their loot.

“No government could be doing more to root out corrupt money,” PM replies. He adds that he’s proud of what the govt has already achieved on this front and he’s grateful for the support from Starmer.

    ………………………..

PM says there is no evidence of the Russian interference in our elections after MP Caroline Lucas criticised the PM for a comment he made in 2017 – when the PM said there was no evidence of successful Russian interference in UK elections.

PM says he will repeat what he said previously – there’s no evidence of successful Russian interference in UK elections.
