Terrified passengers feared for their lives when their plane was battered by Majorca’s heavy storm.
Footage shows the aircraft shaking violently mid-air as people scream and cling to their seats.
The plane, which was flying from Alicante in southern Spain to Majorca, was hit by the extreme weather as it approached the island yesterday.
The video was filmed by Estela Orts, a dancer and acrobat known for her performances in Magaluf’s famous Pirate Show.
She later posted the footage on Instagram and wrote: ‘It was the first time in my life that it has ever crossed my mind to think that THIS IS IT.’
It comes on the same day the storm caused The Britannia, a P&O cruise ship moored in Palma, to break off from the shore and crash into an oil tanker.
Several among the thousands of mostly British passengers suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Meanwhile, people on the mainland had to be rescued from flooded cars.
In her post on Instagram, Estela wrote: ‘Now I am calmer… TODAY I WAS BORN AGAIN. I hope the pilot of the plane reads this: THANK YOU, thank you for what you did today, you didn’t have to apologise to us, the minutes felt like forever but in the end it was just a scare.

The Spaniard said she had been flying back to Majorca after visiting family in Alicante.
She added that the flight was delayed due to weather, but eventually took off.
