Nurse sues Royal British Legion over ‘despicable’ birthday card joking about her age
The Daily Mirror says a nurse sued the Royal Legion for discrimination after her colleagues gave her a birthday card saying ‘It’s not about age, it’s about attitude’.
The card also featured a photo of a pensioner riding a motorbike and prompted Eileen Gleeson to take the veteran’s charity to an employment tribunal.
