Simon Cowell cancels The X Factor after 17 years
THE TIMES says Simon Cowell has cancelled The X Factor after 17 years after deciding that he wanted to save the show from becoming a “joke”, it was reported last night.
The music mogul, 61, who is focusing on a new game show project, is understood to have shelved the talent competition for at least five years. However, sources close to the pop impresario have said they believe that The X Factor is unlikely to return to UK screens.
