England fans shine laser pen in Kasper Schmeichel’s eyes during penalty
The Times says a laser pen was pointed at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel’s eyes as he faced the extra-time penalty, adding to the controversy surrounding England’s win.
TV footage showed a green light passing over his head moments before Harry Kane stepped up to take his shot.
Schmeichel saved the initial strike but was unable to stop Kane firing the rebound into the net.
