‘Ndrangheta, raid on banks. Here’s how the clans have extended their reach to Canadian ones.

A recent investigation conducted by Repubblica, Occrp, and Toronto Star has uncovered the intricate web of connections surrounding Angelo Figliomeni. In Italy, Figliomeni is known as a notorious boss, but in Vaughan, he is officially only selling sandwiches.

The investigation revealed that Figliomeni has been able to operate under the radar in Canada, using his legitimate business as a front for his criminal activities. Despite his seemingly innocuous business ventures, Figliomeni has been able to maintain a powerful presence in the criminal underworld.

Authorities are now working to dismantle Figliomeni’s network and bring him to justice for his illegal activities. The investigation serves as a stark reminder of the hidden dangers lurking beneath seemingly ordinary facades.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as authorities work to uncover the full extent of Figliomeni’s criminal empire.
