Murder investigation after family found dead in home
The Metropolitan Police is treating the deaths of a woman, her partner, and their two children as murder.
Police say, Monika Wlodarczyk, 35, died from multiple sharp-force wounds. She was discovered deceased in a flat in west London alongside Michal Wlodarczyk, 39, Maja Wlodarczyk, 11, and Dawid Wlodarczyk, three.
Authorities have confirmed that they are not seeking any other individuals in connection with the deaths.
The police further stated that Michal Wlodarczyk sustained fatal neck wounds, but additional details regarding the circumstances of his death are currently unavailable.
Post-mortem examinations for the children are scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The Met Police said in a statement that they were contacted by Maja’s school on June 16th at 15:12 BST due to concerns about her absence since June 12th, and family members not responding to messages.
Subsequently, officers entered the family’s residence on Staines Road in Bedfont, Hounslow, where the bodies of the four individuals were discovered.
While the exact time of their deaths remains unknown, inquests into their passing will commence on Tuesday at West London Coroner’s Court.
