Authorities in Southern California have issued an missing persons Amber Alert for a mother and her two-month-old daughter after they disappeared on Sunday morning.
Police and sheriff’s deputies in Los Angeles County are desperately searching for Sabrina Sanchez, 31, and her daughter Itzel Sanchez.
Investigators believe they were kidnapped by 25-year-old Efrain Sanchez-Jimenez, who is Sabrina’s husband and Itzel’s father.
According to authorities, Sanchez-Jimenez threatened his wife and child before they disappeared.

‘Suspect Sanchez has made recent threats to murder his wife and child and he is believed to be armed with a handgun,’ the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office stated on Sunday.
The three were last seen leaving Sabrina’s home around 11.45am in Lancaster. The city is located about 70 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
‘It is believed the victims left with the suspect out of duress and fear for their safety, after he previously committed a sexual assault upon a family member,’ the sheriff’s office said.
Sabrina and Itzel left with Efrain into his silver Buick Lucerne sedan, which has Colorado license plates with the number AUI-X94. Photos of the sedan have been publicly released.
