Nick Cannon’s ninth baby has been the subject of death threats, the baby girl’s mother has revealed.

The TV presenter, 42, welcomed his ninth baby Onyx with model LaNisha Cole, 40, in September, and has since had a 10th child with Brittany Bell.

When baby Onyx was born, Nick had appealed to his followers not to send hate messages to Lanisha or the child, saying at the time: ‘As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength.

‘So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children.’

However, LaNisha took to Instagram this week to reveal that some cruel trolls had been sending death threats about her baby.

She wrote on Friday: ‘Making death threats against a baby is a new low. Some of you guys are disgusting.

‘Regardless of how you feel about my life, it’s never that deep to threaten my baby.’

LaNisha later added: ‘People say the craziest things to me sometimes but I’ll continue to stay positive. I’m focused on my daughter and my work… my 2 top priorities.

‘No matter how you feel just remember that there’s a real person behind the pics and videos you see on social media. Say what you want about me, just keep my kid out of it.’

Since Onyx was born last month, Nick has also welcomed his 10th child, a son called Rise Messiah with Brittany, who is also the mother to his kids Golden and Powerful Queen.

He also has two sets of twins – Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey and Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa – as well as son Legendary with Bre Tiesi.

Nick also shared son Zen with Alyssa Scott, but the baby died from a brain tumour at five months old in December 2021.
