‘More than 100’ Tory MPs would turn against Boris Johnson in no-confidence vote
The Metro says more than 100 Conservative MPs would fail to back the Prime Minister in a no-confidence vote, reports say.
Boris Johnson would likely still win the contest of 360 Tories but would be severely weakened by the scale of the revolt if it is that large.
Downing Street is said to believe that the PM is in the ‘danger zone’ over letters going to Sir Graham Brady.
If the leader of the 1922 Committee receives 54, a vote will be held on Mr Johnson’s future.
