Even before making her Love Island debut, Molly Marsh is no stranger to public attention.

The 21-year-old musical theatre performer has had a rocky journey in the villa so far after she was originally coupled up with Mitchel Taylor, 26, however her head quickly turned forpersonal trainer and basketball player, Zach, also 26.

Fans were stunned to know that Molly’s mum Janet Marsh has, in fact, walked the Coronation Street cobbles, however we’re still for her to spill the tea to her fellow islanders.

And before her Love Island journey began, Molly claimed that while she wouldn’t mind returning home with Mr Right, she also wants to boost her career.

‘Who wouldn’t want to find someone and find love?,’ she said.

‘The same with money. Who wouldn’t want to go on a show and win money?’

‘And with the fame side of things, because I’m in the social media industry, I do have a sprinkle of that fame and getting noticed when I go out.’

Although the latest season has been a hit with viewers so far, the series was recently hit with155 Ofcom complaints after Jess Harding was labelled a ‘mean girl’ for her treatment of Molly.

The drama erupted on the episode airing Wednesday, June 14, when Jess, 22, made several comments about Molly behind her back, and later burst into tears when she was called out on her behaviour.

At one point, the aesthetics practitioner pointed out Molly’s actions in the gym to the rest of the group, saying she’s ‘doing the most’.

Ella Thomas replied: ‘She’s not leaving Zach’s side today. She is obviously pretending that she just wanted to work out.’

    Jess added: ‘She knows we’re talking about her. I don’t give a f***. Give a f***.’

When Molly called over to Jess and asked her to join, she bluntly replied: ‘I don’t want to intrude in the triangle babe.’

‘I can literally hear every conversation. Just shut up,’ Molly added under her breath.

The episode has now racked up 155 complaints with Ofcom confirming to Metro.co.uk that ‘the majority of complaints related to alleged bullying behaviour, involving Jess and Molly.’
