A football match descended into absolute chaos when football hooligans started hurling missiles, throwing flares and ripping up seats.
It all kicked off near the end of West Ham’s 2-1 Europa Conference League victory at the London Stadium in Stratford yesterday evening.
Fans from Belgian side Anderlecht were not happy with the result, and started lobbing flares into the West Ham end after the Hammers won on penalties.
Riot police quickly descended on the scene and as a result of the carnage one officer was reportedly hit over the head with a chair, and another hurt his arm.
Visiting supporters ran onto the pitch and stewards were forced to tackle many of them to the ground.
At one point, West Ham fans could be heard singing ‘come on you Irons’ as they looked over at the disturbance.

Anderlecht has now issued an apology for the fans’ behaviour and Uefa said it will be launching an investigation.
A spokesperson for the club said: ‘The club will take it up with the fans and Uefa.
‘We want to apologise to West Ham. We don’t tolerate it. We strongly condemn this behaviour.’
West Ham boss David Moyes also condemned the ugly scenes.
