Miley Cyrus has revealed the moment he knew her marriage to Liam Hemsworth was over.
The former Disney child star, 30, had been with actor Liam, 33, for almost a decade, since meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2009.
Having been engaged, split and reconnected, the couple married in December 2018 shortly after their shared home burned down in a wildfire, but split less than a year later.
Now the Flowers singer has opened up about their marriage and divorce in new TikTok series Used To Be Young, revealing she knew at Glastonbury 2019, where she was performing, that their marriage was over.
She said it was then when the decision had been made that their ‘commitment to being married just really came from … a place of love first, because we’ve been together for 10 years, but also from a place of trauma, and just trying to rebuild as quickly as we could.’
She went on: ‘The day of the [Glastonbury] show was the day that I had decided that it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship.’

Miley described it as ‘another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first,’ and has since tried to change her priorities so the ‘human comes first.’
Her Glastonbury set proved iconic, with special guests including Lil Nas X and her father Billy Ray Cyrus, and belting out covers from Amy Winehouse to Led Zepplin and Metallica.
Miley and Liam split after eight months of marriage, shortly after celebrating their 10-year anniversary, though they had split for some time during that decade.
The couple met while filming romantic film The Last Song, released in 2010, and got engaged in 2012 but later split in 2013.
They got back together three years later, with Miley being spotted with her engagement ring back on in 2016, before they married in a private ceremony in front of family and close friends in 2018.
