    —

Meghan Markle posted an intimate video showing her and Prince Harry dancing and embracing, filmed by Princess Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex revealed a glimpse of the family’s guarded life in California in a clip shared on her Instagram.

The duchess said credit for the black and white video goes to ‘our daughter’.

‘When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there,’ Meghan wrote in the caption.

In the video, Meghan traipses towards the Duke of Sussex, who pulls her in for a kiss before the couple improvise a dance while dressed in casual clothes.

Meghan then locks her arms around Harry’s neck as he lifts her up before the couple embraces again.

Shared on Friday, it was Meghan’s first video since the start of the New Year.

Meghan also shared a picture of her and Harry hugging each other during a trip to Botswana in August 2016.

The last time the 44-year-old shared anything on her social media was a festive clip showing her and others cooking in her kitchen along with her favourite holiday playlist.

She also posted a family portrait of her and Prince Harry with their children Archie and Lilibet.

It was one of the clearest pictures of Archie Meghan has shared as the couple usually keep their children’s faces out of the public eye.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales is set to take on ‘greater roles’ within the monarchy this year, according to royal experts.

The New Year marks a clean slate for the royal family following Prince Andrew’s fall from grace due to his alleged links with Jeffrey Epstein’s accuser Virginia Giuffre and the release of further files relating to the FBI investigation into Epstein.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who lost his royal titles last year, has denied any accusations of wrongdoing.

The former Duke of York is thought to be moving out of the Royal Lodge after living there for 22 years after a removal van was spotted outside the Windsor house. He is expected to move into a temporary property on the Sandringham estate.
