A social media post from EastEnders star Maisie Smith has left many fans wondering if she has split up from her boyfriend, The Wanted star Max George. However, a comment from the singer has quickly dismissed any opportunity for rumours to really start circulating.
The actress, known for her role as Tiffany Butcher in the BBC One soap, uploaded a short video to her TikTok account with the song Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me At All) by Omar Apollo playing in the background.
In the clip, as well as sharing a video of her and her dog, Maisie is seen looking tearful and even writes ‘You didn’t deserve me’ as the caption.
It did leave many fans wondering if she was alluding to splitting up with Max, 34, but fortunately – that isn’t the case.
Within the comments, Max posted a sweet message and wrote: ‘My absolute world, my angel.’

Max and Maisie confirmed their romance last month.
They met while competing on Strictly Come Dancing and then grew closer on the tour.
Back at the start of September, Maisie, 21, shared a sweet photo of the pair kissing during a recent holiday together, writing on Instagram: ‘Happy birthday @MaxGeorge’.
The pair also have each other’s names to their Instagram bios to avoid any doubt about their relationship status.

Maisie recently appeared in Channel 4’s celebrity series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
She went on to pass the brutal course alongside Calum Best, AJ Pritchard and Ferne McCann.

During one of the episodes, she opened up about her time playing Tiffany Butcher in EastEnders and admitted: ‘I was on Eastenders for 13 years, which was all I can remember. I sometimes think I’m more comfortable being Tiffany than I am being Maisie.’
‘The good thing about being an actress is that I know how to look confident. In reality I have no idea what I’m doing.’
