Mauricio Pochettino says there could be more arrivals at Chelsea before transfer deadline day amid interest in Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe.
Smith Rowe has emerged a shock transfer target for the Blues with Pochettino said to be keen to bring in another attacking option before the window closes on Friday.
While talks are not thought to be at an advanced stage yet, reports suggest Arsenal could allow the 23-year-old to leave north London.
Asked for an update on Chelsea’s remaining transfer activity, Pochettino said the club are still working on deals ahead of Friday’s deadline and would welcome any further additions.
‘I know the club is working hard to finish our business,’ Pochettino told a press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Carabao Cup second round clash against AFC Wimbledon.
‘There is still a few days. Can something happen? Maybe, yes. At the moment I am only working and tyring to deliver what we want. But there is nothing to communicate at the moment.’
He added: ‘I am happy with the squad we have got so far. If we had someone who can maybe improve different positions of course they are welcome but I am happy with how we are now.’

Arsenal are hoping to raise funds in order to comply with Financial Fair Play with a number of sales expected to be pushed through before the end of the week.
The Times claim Arsenal have offered Smith Rowe to several unnamed Premier League sides and are looking for a fee of around £40m.
Smith Rowe broke into the Arsenal first-team in 2020 and following speculation over his long-term future in north London, signed a new five-year deal in 2021.
After struggling with a groin problem at the start of last season, the 23-year-old underwent surgery which saw him miss the first half of the 2022-23 campaign as Arsenal challenged Manchester City for the title.
Following his return to the squad in January, he failed to start a single league game in the second half of the season.
Smith Rowe has remained on the bench in Arsenal’s opening three games of the new campaign, with Fabio Vieira coming on and impressing ahead of him in the weekend draw against Fulham.
