Matt Smith, 42, confirms new love interest, 26, with some passionate kissing
Former Doctor Who star Matt Smith has been pictured with a new woman on his arm – Jessica Felix, who is 16 years his junior.
The former Timelord and House of the Dragon actor, 42, was spotted with the mysterious woman while on a New Year’s break in coastal Rio de Janeiro. However, she didn’t stay a mystery for long and has since been identified as Brazilian model and trainee doctor Jessica, 26.
The fashion model currently boasts more than 4000 followers on Instagram, describing her life’s work as ‘model & medicine’
It is not known how Matt – who was previously in a relationship with Mamma Mia star Lily James – first met the beautiful brunette. But, if the pictures are anything to go by, he already knows her very well indeed.
The pair were pictured in the South American city indulging in a spot of heavy petting on a busy sidewalk while meeting friends for lunch.
In the pictures, Matt could be seen wearing a white baseball cap with a white t-shirt and round sunglasses.
Jessica, meanwhile, wore a red dress and carried a gold handbag as she and Matt hugged in the street.
Other pictures showed the pair joining friends for lunch – their arms still very much around each other as they walked.
The actor dated Pride and Prejudice and Zombies co-star Lily after meeting on the set of the comedy horror film in 2015.
The pair were in a relationship for five years, but split for good in October 2020 – having initially gotten back together during the first wave of the Covid pandemic.
An anonymous source said at the time: ‘Things haven’t been right for a while, and a few months ago they decided to finally end it properly.
Prior to dating Lily, Matt had also been linked to famous names such as fellow Doctor Who star Billie Piper, model Daisy Lowe, and actress Emma Laird.
As of August 2023, Matt was rumoured to be dating Lili Gattyan, with the pair looking cosy together as they enjoyed a cosy date together in London.
The actress ‘looked like she was having a ball,’ an onlooker told The Sun at the time.
More recently, the actor has kept tongues wagging by debuting a controversial new look for his upcoming movie, Caught Stealing.
For the film, which also stars Austin Butler, the occasional Targaryen could be seen rocking an electric mohawk, black-and-red striped jumper, and tartan trousers.
