Friends legend Matt LeBlanc has revealed he has no plans to pick up acting work any time soon.
The 55-year-old shot to fame in the 90s sitcom, where he played dimwitted but loveable actor, Joey Tribbiani.
Following the show’s end in 2004, the actor went on to star in a spin-off series based on his character, we well as in Episodes.
Outside of acting, the Charlie’s Angels star also presented Top Gear with Chris Evans, after original hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond departed.
Meanwhile, Matt’s Friend co-stars have also busied themselves with on-screen projects, with Jennifer Aniston featuring in The Morning Show, Courteney Cox in Shining Vale and Lisa Kudrow in Shining Vale.
However, the Lovesick performer has said he has no desire to reunite with his former colleagues on a programme, adding that he was ‘enjoying’ having time off from the limelight.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he explained: ‘I’m taking some time off right now.

‘I’m just enjoying not having to do anything – it’s been kinda nice. Sorry, I’ll let you know when I do.’
As for a reboot of Friends, Matt said he understood with fans of the show, which also starred Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, are desperate for it to return but he feels that the humour belonged to a particular period in the characters’ lives.

He shared: ‘I understand that people really want to see that reunion.
But that show was about a finite period in these six characters’ lives, between 20 and 30.’

Meanwhile, Marta Kauffman, who co-created the show with her longtime friend David Crane, admitted Matt played dim-witted ‘so well’ that it became part of his struggling actor character, who wasn’t originally meant to be ‘stupid.’
She explained: ‘We didn’t originally intend for Joey to be stupid, but Matt LeBlanc played stupid so well that it became part of the character.’
