A new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leak may have just revealed all the new weapons coming with the game’s next few seasons.
Season 2 Reloaded launched across Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 in early March and there are already leaks about what’s to come in the near future, for both games.
As usual, this information wasn’t published by Activision, which tends to remain tight-lipped about new content, but by a team of dataminers who carefully went through each and every datafile.
They claim to have found out the names of all the upcoming guns that will be released across both sequels, supposedly until Call Of Duty 2023 comes out.
The leak was first made public on the Twitter account of Task Force Leakers 141, which revealed that assault rifle FAMAS would be returning in Season 3.
Each of the leaked files has a codename, with some more easily deciphered than others, such as the Kali Sticks melee weapon at the bottom of the list.
Although handily, a Reddit user has claimed they know which weapon each of the codenames represent.
If the Reddit post turns out to be true, you’ll soon be able to unlock and use classic weapons such as the Intervention sniper rifle, as well as the Tec-9 submachine gun.

The leaked information could be a major setback for the game, as it’s likely these weapons were planned to be revealed as a surprise, in hopes of spicing up future seasons.
At the moment, a big chunk of the game’s playerbase seems to be disappointed with the current season, despite new maps, weapons, and modes getting added with the latest update.

Not long ago another major leak hinted at seven more maps and new crossovers coming, confirming the current Call Of Duty titles will be receiving new content until at least early November.
As always, it’s good to take these leaks with a grain of salt, as even if they’re accurate developers could still end up changing their minds.
However, given the size of the leaks it wouldn’t be surprising to see at least some of these weapons making an appearance soon.
