Martha Stewart has been called out on social media for her latest post (Picture: Instagram)
Martha Stewart has been slammed for being ‘tone deaf’ after she garnished her cocktail with pieces of an iceberg.
The businesswoman, 82, is currently on holiday in Greenland, and spent some time on board a luxury yacht for a cruise around the east coast.
Taking to Instagram, she shared glimpses from her getaway with fans, with one photo showing a close-up of stunning glaciers, while another revealed chunks of the iceberg on a bar cart.
‘End of the first zodiac cruise from @swanhelleniccruises into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of Greenland,’ she captioned the post.
‘We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight.’
However, the upload didn’t go down well with fans as many called her out for ignoring the ongoing climate change issues.

One fumed: ‘I generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because he’s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf [sic].’
‘“If you can’t find fresh icebergs for your cocktails store bought is fine,’” a follower quipped.
‘Martha the ice caps are melting don’t put them in your drink,’ another suggested.
A commenter said: ‘Global warming and melting ice caps but we need glacier ice for cocktails?! Talk about tone def.

‘Been a fan for years but I’ve seen enough caviar lately as I struggle to buy groceries that I’m out [sic].’
An Instagram user begged: ‘Martha! Leave the icebergs alone!’
‘You should have left the ice right where it was. You have heard of global warming haven’t you,’ an unimpressed fan added.
Martha has yet to address the backlash, but has been sharing more pictures from her trip on social media, including a boat trip to see a fjord and a tour of a chocolate maker’s facility.

The acclaimed author made headlines earlier this year when she unveiled her photoshoot for Sports Illustrated, becoming the oldest cover star in history.
‘When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,’ she told the outlet of the snaps, in which she posed in a white swimsuit.
‘And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.
‘Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important and not your age.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Martha’s reps for a comment.
