Marilyn Monroe fans furious at ‘disgusting’ John F Kennedy scene in new film Blonde
The Metro says Fans of Marilyn Monroe have been left sickened by a scene in new film Blonde which features former US President John F Kennedy.
The Netflix film, from director Andrew Dominik, was released last week and is causing some controversy among fans of the late actress.
While Blonde looks like a biopic, the film has actually been adapted from Joyce Carol Oate’s book of the same name: released in 2001, and a work of fiction.
The NC-17 film contains some shocking scenes, some of which are completely made up just to make a better story – it is a work of fiction, after all.
