Marcus Rashford issues positive injury update as he closes in on Manchester United return
The Metro says Marcus Rashford could return to full contact training with Manchester United this weekend as he closes in on a long-awaited return following his shoulder surgery over the summer.
The 23-year-old had been struggling with the problem throughout last season but had held off on going under the knife so he could be involved in Euro 2020, though only played a peripheral role for Gareth Southgate’s side.
After a long lay-off, he has been ramping up his progress in recent weeks and is now on the verge of being given medical clearance to resume full training with the rest of the squad.
