Manchester City win Premier League title ahead of Liverpool after dramatic final day
The Metro says Manchester City have won the Premier League title ahead of Liverpool following a dramatic final day of the season on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s side, who were just a point ahead Jurgen Klopp’s men heading into the final day, were two goals down at home to Villa with just 21 minutes remaining.
But three goals inside five minutes through Rodri and a double from Ilkay Gundogan sealed a 3-2 victory to ensure City are crowned Premier League champions.
Liverpool, meanwhile, went behind after just three minutes at Anfield as Pedro Neto opened the scoring for Wolves.
