Imagine finding the world’s biggest hula hoop, what would you do? Well one man is selling it on eBay.
Adam Potter, 28, from Birmingham, received a pleasant 4.72-inch surprise when he opened up his packet of Hula Hoops in December.
Instead of eating the tasty looking crisp, Adam kept it in an airtight container and bids are already reaching £17 – way more than a multipack of Hula Hoops.
Bidding ends in six days and there are currently 13 bids in for it.
Adam claims his discovery tops the previous world record of a four-inch hoop found in August 2021.
‘I did it as a bit of a laugh to be honest – who is going to buy a Hula Hoop,’ he said.
‘But then I saw that one sold for £712 and I thought I would be daft not to put it on there.
‘Hopefully something good comes of it, with the money I will put it into my small business.

The crisp will now be sold to one lucky bidder (Picture: SWNS)
‘I am hoping it will be a nice little cash injection.’
Adam previously talked about the moment he came across the massive hoop.
He said: ‘I was having a break whilst I was baking some chocolate concrete, I opened the packet and was confused.
‘It really threw me for the day, I ran upstairs to tell my wife but she was in a meeting – I had to hold my excitement but she was well amazed.

‘I have contacted KP Snacks and said they should bring them out and call them Hula Tubes, they would be perfect for dipping.
‘Crisps are always my go to, they are easy to pick up out of the cupboard.
‘I thought I would take some pictures and eat it but I still have it in a box with the wrapper.
‘I think I might put it on eBay, like I said I am going to keep it in an air-tight container so it will be good to eat when the time comes.’
