An adult man was shot and killed at an indoor trampoline park in Maryland.
Police in Baltimore County rushed to a Sky Zone location on Saturday evening in Timonium, a small town just north of Baltimore, after getting reports of shots fired.
Sky Zone is a trampoline park franchise with dozens of locations across the United States. Sky Zone locations typically offer programming for children’s birthday parties and other events.
Baltimore County Police officers arrived around 7.00pm to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was pronounced dead the same night.
Police later identified the victim as 32-year-old Marcus Whitehead.
No other people at the Sky Zone park were hurt over the course of the shooting, police confirmed. All children at the facility have since been reunited with their families.
The incident is still under investigation by the Baltimore County Police’s violent crimes division.

A suspect was detained the same night, and police announced there was no ongoing threat to public safety.
The suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree murder the next day. He was identified as 30-year-old Quinton Walker.
Walker is currently being held without bond at Baltimore County Detention Center.
‘This incident of gun violence is shocking, horrifying, and simply has no place in our community,’ Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski said on Twitter. ‘We are thankful that no children were injured in this shameful act of cowardice.’
This is not the first incident of gun violence involving children in Maryland this year.
In January, a 16-year-old high school student was killed and four more injured at a shopping center in southwest Baltimore.
Another teenage suspect was arrested for the mass shooting a month later.
