A man fatally shot his mother, his grandmother and the manager of a McDonald’s where he had worked, before turning the gun on himself.
The mass shooter killed his 50-year-old mom as well as his 74-year-old grandma in two neighboring homes in rural south Georgia on Thursday. He then proceeded to kill a 41-year-old woman who was a manager at a McDonald’s in downtown Moultrie, according to Colquitt County Coroner Verlyn Brock.
All three women appeared to have suffered several gunshot wounds.
‘I can’t for the life of me figure out what provoked him in that way,’ said Brock.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released, pending notification to their family members.
McDonald’s confirmed that the the woman who was shot dead was a manager, but did not release her identity. It was not immediately known if the shooter and the manager knew each other.
Witnesses said the manager worked an early morning shift and that the gunman worked at the same McDonald’s, the Daily Mail reported.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is taking the lead in the investigation. The agency as of Thursday evening stated only that there were ‘multiple fatalities’ at different locations.
