Breaking: Michael Shields, 35 charged with murder of Dea-John Reid, 14 in Birmingham
Michael Shields, 35, from Alvis Walk, Castle Bromwich has been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Dea-John Reid – who was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
Police say Shields was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court later.
They said a 38-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy remained in custody for questioning.
Two other men, aged 36 and 33, and a 13-year-old boy have been released with no further action.
